OUR HISTORY
MUCH MORE THAN A COCKTAIL LOUNGE
KOOTENAY WEST DISTILLING began it's journey in 2018 when we took possession of the old City Bakery that operated in Trail under different names for almost 100 years. Thomas our head distiller disassembled the 3500 sq/ft bakery and updated the virtually untouched building from 2018-2021. Preserving and restoring the heritage of our building we were able to create an inviting space for up to 50 guests. In our lounge, we serve farm-to-table food and garden-to-glass cocktails. We hope you come visit us in the heart of the Kootenays.
